Join Office of LGBTQ Services and Women Gender and Sexuality Studies for a screening of Outlaw followed by discussion with Professor Vooris.

Leslie Feinberg, a self-identified "gender outlaw" who speaks with passion and intelligence about zir experiences in this film manifesto. Feinberg's’ novel Stone Butch Blues (1993) remains essential reading as genderqueer narrative exploring themes of passing, trauma and sex in the 1970s.  

Leslie Feinberg died in 2014 at zir home in Syracuse, zir last words were: “Hasten the revolution! Remember me as a revolutionary communist.” Feinberg is also remembered for zir work developing Marxist trans libationary politics.
