On July 15, Dickinson announced that the fall 2020 semester will be remote. Campus is closed to visitors who do not have an approved appointment. Face coverings must be worn at all times.
Upper-level students helped the first wave of the class of 2023 move in to Dickinson this weekend during the first of two move-in days held by the college. Here to take part in the college's Pre-Orientation Adventures program, the first members of the class will explore everything from creative writing to the intersection of sustainability and place through a more intensive Orientation experience that combines experiential education, team-building and leadership development.
The college will hold its second move-in day on Wednesday, Aug. 28, when the rest of the class of 2023 arrives for Orientation. On Sunday, Sept. 1, the academic year will officially kick off when the class of 2023 gathers with the rest of the college community for Convocation.
